About EEP
The Environmental Education Providers of Miami-Dade County, Inc. (EEP) was founded in 1997. We are a consortium of local not-for profit organizations, government agencies, universities, public school educators and administrators from Miami-Dade County, who share a common interest in providing environmental education to our community.
EEP meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month except August.
EEP Mission Statement
The Mission of the Environmental Education Providers of Miami-Dade County, Inc. (EEP) is to develop through environmental education a South Florida community that has the knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivations, and commitment to work toward solutions for current environmental problems, prevention of new problems, and preservation of our natural resources for future generations.
EEP Objectives
The objectives of the Environmental Education Providers of Miami-Dade County, Inc. are:
A. To foster cooperation among educators through the exchange of information and ideas.
B. To provide a forum for environmental educators to collaborate in making better use of limited resources within our community and to work together at community events that promote environmental awareness.
C. To provide a resource for education about the environment to all South Florida communities by providing speakers, information, materials, contacts, and more.
D. To provide educators quality professional development.
